Brief Description of the Company: Biem Pharmaceuticals was founded in Ankara by Pharm. Levent CANYURT in 1991 as a 100% domestically-owned pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

We market products in the fields of oncology, hematology, radiology, organ transplantation, nephrology, anti-infectives, and ophthalmology. Biem holds more than 93 Marketing Authorization (MA) certificates across 59 countries.

Biem’s vision is to be a leading company in its therapeutic areas with a “seven continents, four directions” approach and to provide medicines produced with the latest technology for the treatment of rare diseases to patients without seeking high profit margins.

Through its investments in R&D activities, Biem has developed new products tailored to patient needs and market demands, ensuring accessibility for patients in over 30 countries worldwide since 2015, in addition to Türkiye.

Biem’s R&D laboratory continues its studies since 2019. Located in Gebze TÜBİTAK Marmara Technocity, our R&D laboratory has been equipped with the latest technology and occupies a modern area of approximately 400 square meters.

In Biem’s R&D laboratory, more than 10 orphan drugs are currently in development with improved accessibility for patients ensuring Biem’s scientific values and technology.

With its patient-focused approach and experienced team, Biem continues to develop personalized treatments and accessible medicines tailored to patient needs, further contributing to Türkiye’s pharmaceutical industry.

We focus our research and development efforts on creating a portfolio of differentiated products in oncology, hematology, radiology, transplantation, ophthalmology, and other various therapeutic areas. By collaborating with reputable design firms in Europe, Biem has completed its Sterile Injectable Manufacturing Facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and compliant with both US FDA and EU GMP standards.
